You are not powerless. Indian labour law provides strong protections. Most employers will settle rather than go to a Labour Court.

Notice Pay entitlement
If terminated without serving notice, you're entitled to salary for the entire notice period. Usually 1–3 months depending on contract.

Gratuity (5+ years)
If you've worked 5+ years, you're legally entitled to gratuity = (Basic × 15 × years) ÷ 26. It cannot be withheld on termination.

Your entire employee PF share is yours always. After 2 months of unemployment, you can withdraw full PF balance from EPFO.

File PF withdrawal claimGo to EPFO Unified Member Portal (uanmembers.epfindia.gov.in). After 2 months unemployment, claim full PF. Transfer if re-employed.
If dues not paid within 2 monthsFile a complaint with the Labour Commissioner of your state. This is free and fast — most employers settle promptly.
Escalate if neededApproach the Industrial Tribunal or Labour Court for wrongful termination / non-payment. Hire a labour lawyer — fee is often contingency-based.
